The Journey Home can accommodate a total of up to 20 people, so your large group of friends can plan for some well-needed rest and relaxation. Make yourself at home in our welcoming environment. Whether you play cards all night while sharing memories, prepare an elaborate dinner in our large kitchen, or walk around our peaceful outdoor grounds, your group will leave all your cares behind. Family Reunions
The Journey Home provides the perfect place to bring your family for a true “retreat” because there are no disturbances at The Journey Home. You rent the entire home, which includes a library, multiple group rooms, large kitchen, sunroom, four bathrooms, and enough beds to sleep 20 people. During your stay, your meals can be prepared our staff, prepared on your own using our large kitchen facilities, or you can choose to have them catered in from a vendor of your choice. The kitchen in The Journey home boasts two full size refrigerators, two ovens and two stoves. The huge kitchen is available for your full use and you can make foods of family traditions, or make popcorn to enjoy out under the stars while relaxing on one of several outdoor seating areas.
The wide-open lawn between the home and barn provides the perfect place for any outdoor activity whether it be a football game, croquet, volleyball, frisbee, flying kites, or whatever activity is your family favorite.
Whatever your plans, you can be sure that you will have made memories that will last a lifetime.

Event/Gatherings
The Journey Home offers a wonderful event venue for birthday celebrations, anniversary dinners, holiday celebrations, luncheons, engagements, and tea parties. We are looking forward to customizing your event!
Weddings
The Journey Home is the perfect place for an intimate wedding, reception, and/or rehearsal dinner with close friends and family. Whether the activities take place inside the beautiful home, outdoors surrounded by nature, or in the historic barn, the memories will last a life time.
The size of The Journey Home gives you several choices of wedding locations:
• A romantic sunset wedding on our beautifully landscaped front lawn
• A large outdoor wedding overlooking the beautiful horizon from our expansive south lawn
• An intimate ceremony by the fireplace
• A regal wedding in our elegant front room complete with crystal chandeliers and curved stairway perfect for the bride's entrance.

Wedding Rental Pricing »
Weekday Rental
(Monday – Friday) 7:30 am to 5:00 pm - $500 a day.
Weekend Rental
(Saturday – Sunday) 9:00 am to 5:00 pm - $700 a day.
Overnight Use of the Facility Connected to a Day Rental
Weekday – an additional $650 a day up to 10 guests. Additional guests are $50 per person.
Weekend – an additional $850 a day up to 10 guests. Additional guests are $75 per person.
If the overnight is the night before the day event, the check-in time is 6 pm. If the overnight is the night after the event, the check-out time is 10 am.
If you would like to set up an event outside the times listed above, please contact The Journey Home, and we will do our best to accommodate your specific request.
WEDDING PACKAGES
Wedding and Reception are facility rental only - home and barn.
Wedding Facility Rental Only : $3,000 (the facility is available from noon to midnight.)
Wedding Facility Rental and Overnight Stay : $4,500
Overnight stay for up to 20 people at The Journey Home either the night before or after the wedding – check in time is 4 pm, check out time is 10 am. (Additional nights can be arranged for $1,500 each.)
NOTE: Holidays could require an additional $750 for any package – New Year’s Day, Valentine’s Day, St. Patrick’s Day, Easter, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Weekend, Christmas Eve and any premium date (Call for details.)
**Bridal Party will be responsible for all outside vendors & items, such as caterer, bakery, beverages, photography, officiate, dinner ware & plastic ware, etc.
Arriving at Journey Home with my husband brought instant serenity into our hearts. It was a place that had special places to sit together and feel at peace. We found these special places throughout the house and on the grounds. We felt connected to the history in the tobacco barn. My husband and I hope to share this place and make great memories with our friends and family.
